Since shortly after construction began on the facility the off road portion of the Guam International Raceway has been in continuous use by the people of Guam and by our islands many visitors. Open two days a week, Saturdays and Sundays, all year round allowing for organized riding and racing of motorcycles, all terrain vehicles, and off road trucks and jeeps for our islands enthusiasts to enjoy. The park has been and is enjoyed by many and is deeply appreciated by all those and their families and is considered a great asset to our islands quality of living. With an infrastructure that includes running water and electricity for its restrooms those who ride and race are now being joined by the entire family. The park is truly a comfortable family park with cook outs and over night camping on the schedule along with organized riding and racing for all ages.
International recognition of the park along with many of our local racers has come from the hosting of the annual Shell V-Power Smokin Wheels Weekend which has been and continues to receive international race coverage giving millions of enthusiasts every year a window into our island. The Smokin Wheels has brought hundreds of participants from around the world to participate and to watch the event. The park and Guamís tropical climate along with its beauty has made it an enthusiasts dream destination to come and enjoy proving that sports tourism works and will have an even brighter future as the entire facility moves closer and closer to its completion.
